Ci vediamo all’angolo
Project description:
PROJECT BY RAFA JACINTO
I’ll see you at the corner is a project that was born from the need to create an affective map of a city then unknown. When I arrived in Milan, about two years ago, I didn’t know anyone or anything about the city. I immediately started to wander around. A habit I’ve had for ages. When I get to a place I don’t know, I get out and start walking. The first experiences were very pleasant. Milan is a flat city on a human scale and without realizing it, I often arrived at the edge of the city. From the first time I went out, I carried my camera over my shoulder. After a few months, I started editing the images and realized that there, among hundreds of photographs, were several street corners. A corner is a moment when we have to choose a route when we don’t know where we are going. It is an important aspect of urban planning and city life. It is also a meeting point, and every time I turned, I found new possibilities.
