The Memory Of You Still Hurts is the most important letter I could write to you, Dad. This project is the beginning of a new path, a way to end a chapter of suffering that has lasted too many years. Since that day, December 4, 2008, my life has changed. I had to interface with parts of me that I never wanted to know and that over the years, I understood to be attributable exclusively to you. I have tried to contrast your presence with suffering and anger, taking on too great a responsibility. We haven’t had a relationship for more than ten years but every emotion towards you has become an image. These pictures are for me, to finally give me the chance to tell you what I feel. I still feel bad for you but I would like you to know that I am sorry, for both of us. I would like to let you know that despite everything, I love you.
