Album di Famiglia is a book about feminicides in Western culture. Through portraits of women and men and short sentences, taken from news articles, more than 60 stories of ordinary violence form a single narrative, in which the protagonists change with each page. From the early stages of the relationship, in which the man often appears as a charming prince charming, the story quickly turns into an affair of daily control and violence, until the tragic denouement.
Counterpointing this narrative are excerpts from the Song of Songs, stills from videos taken from online sites, and some ambient images.
