Description

Il fiume trova sempre la via

The work was born out of a need to find serenity at a difficult time: I had often felt stuck in the past year by a reality that seemed so surreal but had slowly become the new everyday. So I decided to walk along the river, in my imagination a symbol of purification, of strength that carries everything away, to find a new serenity through simple contemplation of the water and the natural entities that live along the banks. The need to be carried along by the current, not knowing where it would take me but with the knowledge that I had to dive deep in order to breathe again. The river thus becomes an inner place and a place of escape from a reality that is still difficult to recount. The water continues to flow, despite everything; the river always finds its way to the sea
